Abt accepts all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. In addition to credit cards Abt also offers in house financing with an Abt card. Financing terms vary depending on purchase and the amount. Abt frequently offers promotions that offer interest free financing for up to 24 months.

Customers can also choose Bill Me Later at checkout. This allows customers to take up to 6 months to pay for their purchases without accruing interest. Abt will only ship to addresses that are Bill Me Later verified.

Abt accepts PayPal. This allows customers to use their PayPal account for purchases made at Abt. Abt will not ship to addresses that are not PayPal certified. You can also use your Google Checkout account. This lets you manage all your purchases and orders in one place.

You can pay for your order with a check or money order. There are special terms and conditions for paying with a check or money order and these orders typically take longer to process and ship when compared to using a credit card as payment.
 

Customer Support:  

Abt offers customers an extensive array of support options. Abt’s customer service department has even won numerous awards from BizRate, BBB OnLine Reliability program, and Retailer of the Year from AudioVideo. Customers may contact the customer service department via phone, email, or online chat.

In addition, Abt provides an extensive FAQ section, buying guides, gift ideas, search tips, first time visitor guides, and customer product reviews. Customers can even search by rating and can read each review. Customers can leave reviews to describe the pros and cons, best uses, and even describe themselves to give the user a better idea of how the product is used.

Abt also has a technical support line which allows customers to email with specific product related questions. If you do need to have your product repaired, Abt has its own repair facility, which means they don’t ship your product out to be repaired. This means that you can have your camera repaired and returned to you quicker.

Shipping:  

Abt will normally ship all orders within 24 hours after receiving the order. With standard shipping orders can take as few as one day to as many as 5 to arrive. This mostly depends on where the order is being shipped. Abt also offers next day air shipping and UPS 3 day select shipping if you need your package in a hurry. Shipping charges are based on the size and weight of the item and where it is being shipped. Abt does offer some items that will qualify for free shipping, in which case there is no shipping charge.

Other:  

Abt will return or exchange purchases within the first 30 days from the shipping date. Camcorders, digital cameras, GPS navigation, PDAs, portable DVD players, computers and accessories, water filters, perishable items, sunglasses and watches all have a 15 day return policy. There are no restocking fees although shipping charges will not be refunded. If the product arrived damaged or defective Abt will pay for the return shipping.

Abt offers a wide variety of services, customer support and carries a decent selection of camera supplies (not the best we have seen, but good enough). Anyone looking for great customer service from a reputable company should have no trouble ordering from Abt.
