Selection:  

Fry’s doesn’t have most extensive offering of camera accessories or camera supplies. It seems they are catering to a more casual user rather than catering to high end users, or both. They do carry the necessities for any camera user which include: batteries, camera bags, cases, tripods, battery chargers, flashes, lenses, and filters. They do carry a few higher end items but these items are usually available as a special order only, so you might be better off ordering from a site that carries these items regularly.

Payment Options:  

Frys.com accepts credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Your credit card will not be charged until the order has actually shipped.
You may also pay via wire transfer, but wire transfers may be subject to a $20 fee. Fry’s also accepts personal checks and money orders, although these orders must be placed over the phone. Orders placed with a check will usually take longer to process than orders placed with a credit card.

Customer Support:  

Customers are free to contact Fry’s using their toll free number, via fax, or email. The customer service representatives don’t know much about product specifics, but can assist you with returns or payment questions.

Fry’s does not have an active user community nor do they have customer reviews posted on their site.

Shipping:  

Fry’s will use the most efficient method for shipping an order. Ground service starts at a rate of $4.72. There are a few promotional items at any given time that will qualify for free shipping, although there really is no way of telling which items qualify at any given time.

Other:  

Fry’s does not charge a restocking fee on returned orders and will allow customers up to 30 days to return an item. Shipping charges are not refundable. Before a customer may return an item they must get return authorization number from customer service. Items that are returned in not like new condition may require a deduction.

Fry’s Electronics is geared toward the average consumer and doesn’t carry much in the high end department. This is fine if all you need is a few simple camera supplies such as a memory card and some batteries. Customers looking for higher end gear will end up shopping elsewhere.
